There are thousands of ears of corn (up to 100,000, says Farmer George) left to glean on the fields at Early Bird Farm, and they’ll be good for the next 2-3 days! Denise Agati, the School Food Director for Ithaca School District, says she would LOVE to freeze and later serve whole corn on the cob in the cafaterias for the first time this year! And she’ll do it if we bring her local ears…
